Changing up or down in distance

It seemed like a good idea at the time right? We understand that in the excitement of signing up to an event months in advance that we as athlete sometimes bite off more than we can chew. If you want to change down in distance after entering if there is availability we can do this for you simply email office@eliteenergy.com.au

Swim Start

Each swim location will be unique and therefore Elite Energy asks athletes to use caution when entering the water. Whether that be due to water depth or submerged items such as rocks. We will endeavor to ensure as safe as possible swim entry and exit locations.

Swim Caps

Elite Energy are always trying to reduce its environmental impact we ask that competitors BYO swim cap, it can be whatever colour or design you like, this way we can reduce the number of single use items such as swim caps. If you forget your swim cap, fear not we can provide you one at the registration marquee for $5 per cap.

Take a Break

For some an open water swim can be quite a challenge and we understand that some may be overcoming fears of swimming in the open water. If at any time you feel you need a break whilst out in the water, feel free to take hold of one of the water safety boards. As long as you don’t have any forward movement there is no penalty. This way you can catch your breath, recompose yourself, have a chat with one of our legendary water safety crew members and get going again.

Wetsuits are a matter of personal choice and can be worn if the swimmer wishes.

Just don’t do it. We bring events to some of the most beautiful parts of not just Australia, but the World and we want to keep these places looking just as amazing as the way we found them. If you can carry it in full you can carry it out empty. We have a very hard stand fast rule on littering, if we catch you doing it, your event is over.

Event Expo

Did you forget something that you “really need” to get through your event, or did you want to see the latest and greatest in sport and lifestyle, well we have you covered. Expo vendors have been hand picked to make sure you have what you really need.

Bad weather/Water conditions

As much as we would love to be able to control everything, this is one thing we can not control. Where necessary Elite Energy reserves the right to alter, shorten, and/or change courses without notice to ensure athlete safety. To read more about entry terms and conditions click here.
